Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Kelybu is an educational tools service for adult educators. Operated by MACRODARK LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Orlando / Orange County). “Kelybu” is the product / d/b/a name. Headquarters: Orlando, Florida. This policy describes how we handle information when you use kelybu.com and related services.
2. Who this service is for
Kelybu is made for teachers, but anyone 18 or older may use it. Accounts are only for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not offer student or child accounts. Do not enter information that identifies a student or other minor in prompts or uploads.
3. Information we collect
- Account: email address, authentication tokens
- Usage: resources generated or downloaded, plan and credit balances, approximate log data (time, status codes)
- Prompts and outputs: text you submit and files we generate
- Technical: IP address and user-agent for security and rate limiting, retained for a short period
We do not ask for student names, photos, voice, dates of birth, addresses, or education records.
4. How we use information
- Provide and secure the service
- Enforce credit limits
- Improve templates and reliability (aggregated)
- Communicate service notices
- Comply with law
We do not use personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information.
5. AI processing
Resource generation is sent to our model provider (xAI API) to produce the requested material. Do not include student personal information in prompts. Do not submit sexual content or sexualized images. We filter obvious personal information and prohibited content where feasible, but you are responsible for what you type. Outputs may be refused or deleted.
6. Sharing
We share data with processors that host or generate on our behalf (for example Cloudflare and xAI), under contracts, only to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to prevent abuse.
7. Retention
- Account data: until you delete the account or it is inactive as stated in our schedule
- Prompts and outputs: kept so you can reopen your resources; you may request deletion
- Security logs: short window
- After school-contract deletion requests (future data-privacy addendum): as required by that contract
8. Your rights
Depending on your state, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Email [email protected]. Florida residents may have additional rights under applicable Florida law.
9. Children
If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents may contact [email protected]. See also our COPPA / children’s statement.
10. Security
Transport encryption (HTTPS). Access to production secrets limited. No student profiles in version 1. No method is perfect; we work to reduce risk.
11. International
Servers may process data in the United States.
12. Changes
We will post updates here and change the effective date.
